Sally Elford

Sally has lived and worked in Brighton since graduating from the illustration degree course. She has continued to develop her style of image making and translated her original collage technique into a digital format. Sally works as a freelance illustrator but also maintains a passion for her own choice of subject matter which is commonly, though not exclusively, the natural world.

Sally celebrates natural forms; the decorative silhouettes of leaves, tree branches, flowers and grasses. Her style indicates her passion for mid century design and illustration. The tapered, sweeping lines, simple blocks of flat colour and a restrained palette make her designs ideal for silk screen printing.
